Throughout his research studies/activities, Dr. Ghassemali has won several awards, such as

• "Best research collaboration of the year-2018", Jönköping University, Sweden
  
• "PED award 2019" for excellence in course organization and administration, School of Engineering, Jönköping University, Sweden
  
• Invited speaker at the ICHEM2018, Jeju Island, South Korea (presenting a work on high entropy alloys).
  
• “Best Research Project Award” 2011, Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), March 2012.
• Selected as an invited speaker at ICTP2011 conference; judged as one of the most pioneering papers in the field of metal forming, Aachen, Germany, June 2011.
• SINGA prestigious PhD scholarship award for PhD studies in Singapore, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, 2009-2013.
• The first place in the 5th National Heat treatment Contest held at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, September 2008.
